Open quotation The spectacular panoramic views of Barcelona as seen from your balcony at the five-star Hotel Miramar must be amongst the best in the city. The hotel utilises the restored original facade of a hilltop palace that was originally built in 1929, though since an extension and redesign by architect Oscar Tusquets and the addition of decadent interiors and art installations, the hotel is looking more palatial than ever.

Hotel Miramar has hosted many an elegant banquet and ball over the decades, though the palace of old is now almost unrecognisable. Subtle art deco influences still remain, but the hotel has made way for sleek, stylish interiors that confidently experiment with outstanding avant garde design and iconic furnishings by designers such as Eames and Starck.

Set on a hilltop overlooking Las Ramblas and only a ten-minute walk to the city centre; the hotel is home to beautiful spa, indoor pool and outdoor pools, a fitness centre, sauna and Turkish bath, complimentary WiFi, bars and Forestier - the hotel's own excellent restaurant.

This swish offer includes daily buffet breakfast, a 25-minute massage in the spa, 20 credit towards dining in the hotel restaurant, a welcome drink on arrival and a 15% discount on further spa treatments.
